sometimes you end up in strange places...

So. Sometimes you read the news at work and read about things that seem like a good idea... and then sometimes you tell your friend that its a good idea and she actually AGREES with you.

and then sometimes you end up driving around in Indiana trying to figure out if you could get in trouble for laying down in someone's yard at 2am. Ah yes, life, its random adventures and the places they take you saw me and a friend driving through Munster and Dyer on Thursday night (okay, really Friday morning) looking for a really really dark place to lay in the grass and watch a meteor shower.

I never realized how very hard it is to find the middle of nowhere, but after one false alarm (too much light pollution in this world!) we ended up below a very large power line in, um, Dyer? We think? Near the corner of 91st & Clark street laying in the bug infested grass watching an AMAZING meteor shower. Well worth the driving, the searching and the plotting. I love random adventures.
